Ear correction
Few organs are as versatile as our ears. But it is precisely this versatility that can disfigure us. People with large ears are teased for this reason from an early age and suffer greatly from it.

The ears are one of our most important sensory organs and, depending on the hairstyle, are usually clearly visible. Strongly protruding ears, which are colloquially called jug ears, can however become a great burden for those affected. Protruding ears often cause the loss of self-confidence. The reason for the protrusion is often too large ear cavities or too little ear fold.
With headbands, caps or long hair you can hide protruding ears but you will be very limited. With an ear correction you can achieve a harmonious overall appearance of your face.
However, an ear correction does not only help with protruding ears. The surgical procedure also allows asymmetries to be successfully removed. Deformations of the earlobes and the position and shape of the ears can also be corrected.
As the shape of the ears in particular can vary greatly in terms of the surgical technique, it is essential that you obtain detailed information and advice in advance. I will be happy to answer your questions at any time and show you which corrections are possible.

Will I have a bandage after the operation?
Yes, the first 10 days you will wear a forehead bandage to protect the freshly operated ears. Once the stitches are removed, after about 10 days, I recommend a headband for the night for about 14 days.
When can I start exercising again?
After an ear correction, a sports break of about 4 weeks should be taken. Contact and martial arts should be avoided for at least 8 weeks.
Will the operation be performed under anesthesia?
No, an anesthetic is not absolutely necessary. A twilight sleep is completely sufficient for this procedure. It is also possible to perform this procedure with local anesthesia.
